2012, 7 Days Escorted Wine Tour
Champagne, Burgundy and Loire Valley
Day 1 (Sunday): Champagne
Your chauffeur wine guide picks you up in your Paris hotel.
The transportation is with an air-conditioned Mercedes van.
Lunch is at your convenience on the way to Reims.
Visit of the world famous Cathedral of Notre Dame in Reims, built in 1211 and which has seen the coronation of many French Kings, especially King Charles VII attended by Joan of Arc.
Visit of the caves of Moet & Chandon (Dom Perignon).
Dress warm!
Dinner and night in a superior room at your 4* L hotel, L'Assiette Champenoise near Reims.
For dinner, you will be having a Gourmet dinner. The restaurant is rated 2* Michelin.
Day 2: Champagne & Chablis
In the morning you visit "De Castelane" or "Claude Cazals" caves, a very personalized tour of their caves and tasting.
Lunch is at your convenience on the way to Chablis.
In Chablis you visit the caves of a family domain famous for their 1er Cru.
Dinner and night in a superior room, 4*L hotel near Beaune, L'Hostellerie de Levernois. Restaurant rated 1*Michelin.
